New but not improved I have used Poise Ultimate Absorbency pads for many years. I had been highly satisfied with this product in the past. After searching many stores and online, the older version was no longer available. I got the new, improved version in the hourglass shape on Jan. 4, 2018. Out of the box, I noticed that the pad was not as thick. These new pads have leaked twice a day. This means that even the plastic part around the hourglass shape is wet, my underwear and my clothing are wet. This Ultimate absorbency pad is definitely less absorbent. It seems more slick on the top of the pad, kind of a Teflon-like coating. The wetness lays on top of the pad before being eventually absorbed. This produces a damp environment for a longer time. I started using this version on a Thursday. A few days later, on Sunday, I got a yeast infection. I presume that the yeast infection came from a more moist environment.
